Horse/Large Animal Conditions Treated

There are numerous pathologies and situations when your horse or large animal may benefit from Veterinary Physiotherapy.

These include;

Back pain - ‘cold backed’, moving off when mounting, previous poor fitting saddle (can lead to chronic spinal muscle tension).
Tendon injuries
Reduced performance - difficulty on one rein, disuniting in canter, knocking fences, poor bend, poor hind limb engagement - to name but a few
‘Just not right’
Altered temperament
Unusual behaviours - bucking, rearing, napping
Muscle imbalance and/or weakness
Routine checks - pre, post or mid season
Box rest - stable exercises appropriate for the injury to maintain suppleness and core strength
Improve your horses core stability
